Removing Top
So after letting the boat sit overnight with the tongue up to dry, I still noticed a large puddle back by the drain hole, plus a puddle on the floor. I poke my head under the rear by the transom and notice its coming out of the transom from a bolt hole. Turns out the transom is water filled. The previous owner had the transom repaired by injecting a wood hardener then epoxy. Well, I'm going for a total resto, so the transom must be replaced. I was just planning on feathering out the old holes and glassing it in, but now its apparent I'm going for a full replacement. As I look up under there, I realize the only way to do this right is to remove the top off the boat. Well, at least its going to be easier to replace the dashboard and run the bulkhead and stringers!
Tops off!

Rotten transom after a lot of wood was removed. The hole on the left and another that is harder to see is where the epoxy was the heaviest.

Transom from the outside. Here You can really see the epoxy filler.

Every piece of wood in this boat is rotten to the point of being top soil. This is the right rear corner.

The top moved outside for now.
